Our Vision

Group of People

Everyone, including all of us at Health Screen Inc., is affected by cancer in some way. This is a disease that does not discriminate. Whether through family member, friend or community, cancer will touch all of us. Sometimes we can feel overwhelmed by the enormity of the problem that faces us, but it is this sense of fear and not-knowing that we have to fight. And we clearly have to do all that we can to fight this disease – each and every one of us.

Our team is comprised of people who believe that we can and should do our part. We believe we can make a difference, potentially on a massive scale, in this fight.

Prevention is a big part of fighting cancer. However, an equally important factor in fighting cancer and protecting one's health is detection – especially early detection. Based on scientific research and expert opinion, early detection examinations and tests can help save lives and reduce suffering from cancers of the breast, colon, rectum, cervix, prostate, testis (testicles), oral cavity (mouth), and skin.

We are developing a low-cost, non-invasive cancer detection test. The continually growing body of scientific research on cancer and the recent technological advancements in optics and in microcontrollers make our vision achievable. This will be a complimentary technology to existing cancer screening technologies and can be a vital tool for early detection and for monitoring cancer remission and relapse.

Five reasons why our vision can become reality:

  1. Strong science and technical expertise.
  2. Diligent research and development of proprietary technology.
  3. Collaboration with governmental cancer boards and community groups.
  4. Continued fundraising from private and public sources to ensure our vision remains our vision.
  5. This is a fight we cannot afford to lose.

To make this vision a reality, the support from individuals, organizations, and the community is necessary. Your help will create a network of important contacts to interested individuals, patient organizations or charities. With our combined efforts we can all win this fight.
